My heart tearing
Into a thousand little pieces
Like a slip of paper
In a child's hand.
Tears trickle from my eyes
With heart wrenching accuracy,
Just the time
You're looking at me.
You said the words
I knew I'd die if I heard.
And I was right,
I died...inside.
A drip of blood
Among the rain drops.
Knife falls to the ground
And I scream your name.
A shuddering breath,
Certainly my last.
You face blurred in my mind,
forever
